I love coming home from school and hearing his paws scratching on the door, excited to see me I love it when he wakes me up in the morning with his slobbery kisses on my face I love it when he cuddles up with me in front of the fire in the evening I love it when he stares at me through the window, his cold nose against the glass I don’t love it when he brings me his toy to play when i’m getting ready I don’t love it when he jumps on my bed with his muddy paws after a walk But I love him, he’s my dog And my best friend.
