Once I was in a home
And I saw the old folk
In the room where they keep them
When they can't even talk
And what is the point
When they can't even talk?
My mother said
That they still need kindness
When they're drooling in bed
Yes they still need kindness
But I didn't understand
Because it sounded so dull
That the space in their hearts
Was still full
